This is what lands in your inbox.
Taken from a real audit I ran in October 2026 on a Canadian supplements store. The store name is removed, nothing else is changed. Each finding was confirmed in a browser before I wrote it down.
1. Two homepage buttons lead to a 404 page HIGH
What I found: The homepage buttons for the NMN 4500 Starter (129 reviews) and the Cardiocan product both ended on "Page not found". Their redirects pointed to product handles that no longer exist. The Starter product itself is live at a different address.
Why it costs you money: These are your featured products, so they get the warmest clicks on the site. Each one ends in a dead end and the visitor leaves.
Free fix (5 minutes): In Shopify admin go to Content → Menus or Online Store → Navigation → URL Redirects, and point the old address to the live product address. Then click both buttons yourself on your phone to confirm.
What the follow-up looks like
If you want the work done, month one starts with exactly these problems. I fix them on a duplicate theme first, log every change with its old value, then send you a short report with before and after.
